SpareRoom Style Guide

Style is more important than you think (and no, we're not talking about funky shirts and quirky trousers...)

We're talking about words, commas and structuring sentences. Having a defined style that we use across all of our writing and comms helps keep SpareRoom's voice consistent. This applies to copy on images/banners too.

Here are some of the key spelling, grammar and style points to be aware of – separated into categories:

• Numbers, weights, measures & dates
• Punctuation, symbols & formatting
• Abbreviations, quotes & referencing
• Geography
