Well, you’re in luck. Cosmopolitan are launching a scholarship competition – giving selected winners the chance to work in the magazine’s HQ for a whole month next summer. Yep, that’s four whole weeks learning the ropes from some of the best in the business…
But as we all know, landing a job in London is only half the struggle. Once you’ve got one, you have to think about the cost of commuting, and finding somewhere to live. It can all start adding up pretty quickly…
That’s where we come in. Renting is expensive, especially in London – where it’s not uncommon for people to spend 75% of their salary on accommodation. This can be a huge deterrent for people to move to the city.
But London is also a place full of big job opportunities, and it makes us sad to think of all the talented people who miss out on them – just because they can’t afford to live here. With this in mind, we decided to partner with Cosmo to launch this scholarship and offer the four lucky interns central London accommodation for the whole month. So they won’t have to spend a penny on rent.
Better still, each winner will be paid the London living wage and given a central London travel pass for the month. So there really are no barriers to four truly incredible opportunities.
