Here at SpareRoom we make it our mission to better understand what’s going on in the rental market, and to share what we’re learning with our users (that’s you!) and the media, so people can be better informed about what’s happening.
Right now we’re looking for people who would be happy to speak to journalists and share their experiences of living in house or flat shares.
You would need to be comfortable supplying your full name and a photograph, and appearing in the media, which could be print magazines, newspapers, or online publications.
For taking part in press interviews, we always send our case studies shopping vouchers upon publication of the article to say thank you.
We are looking to speak to:
-
Homeowners who have started renting out spare rooms to lodgers in UK villages and towns in the past two years.
-
City-based homeowners who are renting spare rooms to lodgers in Wolverhampton, Leicester, Swansea, Salford and Portsmouth.
-
Lodgers who firmly believe that living with a landlord is the best way to rent.
-
Homeowners who are over 60, retired or semi-retired, and renting out a room in their home to boost retirement income.
-
Renters over 50 who are sharing with others due to affordability issues, but who may also be enjoying the social benefits.
If you fit the bill, and you think you might like to get involved, then please get in touch and leave your name, age, and email address, and one of the team will get back to you.
You can reach us by email press@spareroom.co.uk
We look forward to hearing from you!
