Supporting Crisis to end homelessness

Since 2018, we’ve matched every prize amount and donated the same amount to Crisis, the national charity working to end homelessness across Britain.

So far, we’ve donated £104,797.65, to fund year-round services that provide vital support, helping people rebuild their lives, and move out of homelessness for good.

Kelly Holliday, Partnership Engagement Lead at Crisis, says: “Everyone should have a place to call home, but sadly the number of households facing homelessness in England has reached a record high. Increased living costs, rising rents and a lack of affordable housing is pushing more and more people into homelessness or even worse rough sleeping.

Thanks to supporters like SpareRoom, we can help hundreds of people end homelessness through housing and employment advice, wellbeing sessions and training opportunities. All of the funds raised through our partnership are unrestricted, supporting our year-round services at 9 centres across the country."

To find out more about Crisis’ work to end homelessness and how you can get involved, head to their website. And of course, keep entering Live Rent Free – by doing so you're already helping.
